Small99 guides business to net zero through a series of small, manageable steps. With practical guidance, they reduce the overwhelming amount of information out there to empower owners to take action and build more resilient, successful businesses.
99% of businesses in the UK are micro or small businesses, and existing net zero guidance is focused on larger organisations. In trying to do the right thing, many founders have been left with information overload or trying to follow inappropriate guidance.
Small99 was founded to cut through the noise and get owners to take action, with a goal to guide 1 million small businesses to net zero by 2025.
Small99 also run the People, Planet, Pint movement which started during COP26 in 2021 as a way to give a free space for small businesses to learn more and start their journey in an informal setting. This has now grown to over 100 cities globally, with around 60 meetups a month happening and over 15,000 reached.
Over the past few years, we have reached 10,000s of small businesses and helped them on their first step of the journey, helping them overcome the intertia often present from overly technical language and large sustainability challenges.
