As cyclists themselves, the Bikmo team understands the specific needs of their clients. They know, and cater for, full coverage of the rider, their bike and their equipment, regardless of whether they are road-biking or trail-biking.
In 2020, they were able to secure £1.8 million in Series A funding, led by Development Bank of Wales alongside Hiscox and a collection of other angel investors. This investment allowed for global expansion with increased investment in the UK, Germany, Ireland and Austria.
This year, Bikmo announced a launch of a bike theft tracking tool following a whopping 74,000 bike thefts in 2020. Their free tool is an interactive bike theft tracking heat map which works to combine police data and population data to highlight the areas most at risk in England and Wales.
