Ordway’s CEO and Founder, Sameer Gulati, brings over 20 years of experience in developing financial products at leading technology companies including Workday, Zuora, Spree Commerce and Intacct. Gulati launched several billion-dollar finance applications, and his product expertise has guided Ordway’s direction for the last eight years.
When Ordway was founded, most billing and revenue platforms were built around the pricing models of the 2000s and 2010s: flat fees, simple tiers, seat-based contracts. Rather than take the easier path other vendors had already taken, Ordway set out to solve a harder problem. Instead of hardcoding a fixed set of rate structures the way legacy systems did, Ordway built a platform flexible enough to support pricing models that didn’t have off-the-shelf solutions yet. This includes usage-based, hybrid and consumption pricing.
Under Sameer Gulati’s leadership, Ordway Payments launched in July 2026. This system unifies billing, payment processing and AI-powered cash application into a single platform to end manual reconciliation.
Ordway has doubled its recurring revenue since 2024 by targeting larger enterprise clients with complex billing requirements and secured $20 million in August 2026 in a growth equity and debt funding round to double its R&D budget and accelerate its AI product roadmap.
Additionally, in March 2026, Ordway announced that it had achieved G2 High Performer recognition by the world’s largest and most trusted software marketplace.
