Euan Cameron – Willo

willo

Euan graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2010 and went straight into a graduate marketing job with Peter Vardy. In the years since then, he has gone on to become a leader in the digital marketing space, founding 4 startup businesses in the process. Today Euan spends all of his time working on Willo, the video interviewing platform which recently secured over £1m in funding from various investors in the UK and US.

Willo is a freemium video interview platform that enables applicants to submit pre-recorded answers to questions set by potential employers. The process often used at the CV stage, allows recruiters to assess applications at a time that suits them, making the process more efficient and, crucially for hospitality, with minimum impact on other daily duties.

Willo allows applicants to convey three times as much information than in writing, meaning employers have an improved chance of selecting the right people for interviews, and ultimately the job.

Willo has offices in Glasgow, Kiev and Manchester, and counts Samsung Asia, Hiscox, Doosan and airport facilities management firm ABM amongst its global client list – was created on the principle that talent can come from anywhere, with the best people for businesses not bound by geographical location.

In 2021, someone completed a Willo interview every 2 minutes across 145 countries and 98% rated the experience 9/10.

The future direction of Willo is to help employers adopt a more enjoyable and engaging job application experience for everyone, everywhere.
