About Goboony

You can’t beat the freedom of a road trip. Yet each year 2.5 million motorhomes across Europe are only used for an average of 4 weeks. Goboony is changing that.

Inspired by the sharing economy model of Airbnb, founders Mark de Vos and Foppe Mijnlieff launched Goboony in 2015 to foster sharing within the motorhome and campervan community. The online platform allows motorhome owners to earn back the costs of purchasing and maintaining their vehicles while providing affordable and accessible options for travellers across six countries. With 10,000 vehicles currently listed on the platform, Goboony has already sent more than 100,000 people on memorable holidays across the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, France, and Germany.

Goboony is more than just a rental platform. It’s a community of like-minded people who believe in local travel, exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations, and slowing down to enjoy the journey. With the freedom and flexibility of a campervan, you can escape the crowds and discover the hidden gems of your own or neighbouring countries.

The online platform is also proud to have a growing number of electric vehicles across all countries. They were the first platform to welcome electric campervans for hiring out and want to ensure they grow the electric supply to meet 2030 head-on. Until then, by sharing what we have and creating a more circular economy, we can benefit people and the planet at the same time.
