2022 saw HybridTec launch its ‘green energy’ boot camp in partnership with The B2W Group using funding from the Department for Education to further support businesses and job seekers in upskilling in the latest renewable energy technology.
In partnership with The B2W Group, the programme aims to encourage businesses and job seekers to upskill in their respective teams in the newest sustainable technologies, including air source and ground source heat pumps, solar thermal hot water, and underfloor heating.
Available to all ages and abilities HybridTec is encouraging businesses within the sector to upskill their employees who need to uphold the highest possible standards according to their line of work. It is dedicated to developing the skills of candidates, from new entrants to time-served professionals who want to expand their skill set. HybridTec is training upwards of 80 candidates a week on a range of renewable energy and utility solutions via a variety of programmes, directly contributing to the UK’s net zero targets.
Further, a multi-award winning business leader and a champion of women in the sustainable energy sector, while under Sophie’s leadership, HybridTec has seen a substantial period of growth which has brought about a mass expansion across the UK. With almost a decades worth of experience in the STEM management education sector, and a big advocate for female leadership, equality in the workplace and the advancement of green technology, Sophie is highly regarded as one of the most industrious and forward-thinking Managing Directors in the UK, helping to promote the employment of more women in the engineering and green energy technology space.
