About Challenge Accepted
Launched during the first national lockdown, Challenge Accepted was created to give people the tools and motivation to keep going with all their personal challenges.
People are trying to do so much from living a healthy lifestyle to completing their travel wish list that they often lose track of what they started. The Challenge Accepted app provides one place for people to keep track of all their challenges and have the tools and motivation to keep going with whatever they start in a flexible and fun way.
Designed with self-care at its core, they encourage people to go at a pace, level and schedule that suits their lifestyle.
On Challenge Accepted people can start challenges including:
– 30-day health and fitness challenges
– Reading lists
– Fundraising events
– Creating new routines
And hundreds more. They can also create their own challenge, set reminders and complete challenges with friends.
Since the app launch in July 2020, they have worked with UK charities including; the British Heart Foundation, Samaritans and Teenage Cancer Trust to support their virtual fundraising campaigns as many in-person events were cancelled. Now, more than 3,000 people have started a charity fundraising challenge on the app.
Founders Steph and Paul have bootstrapped the business to date with more than 8k+ registered users and have grown at pace achieving a 26% MoM user growth since January 2021. Created by a developer and marketer, meant the two founders had the skills to create and design the app in-house and are now raising funds via Seedrs to market the app, launch their media-sales programme and grow their team.
