About WooWoo

WooWoo is an incredibly successful three-year fem tech start up offering modern women a range of pre, during and post-play products. Founded by Lucy Anderson, it is a fun, young brand run by a squad of women on a mission to put to bed taboos and old-fashioned views towards female self-care and sexual pleasure.

The brand is dedicated to teaching women that they are not a supporting role when it comes to sex, and they deserve to put their pleasure first. Anderson is a fem tech entrepreneur and working single mother of two, who was determined to add some va-va-voom to the fem care industry and provide products and a judgement free space for women to explore their sexuality.

What originally started as an antidote to the typical ‘fem care’ products that women were ashamed to buy is now a cult sexual wellness and self-care brand stocked and sold nationwide in Superdrug, FeelUnique, Ocado and Amazon and independent pharmacies. The startup has also broken into several European markets including Spain, France, Italy and Germany and will be launching this autumn in Australia.

Being a fem tech company, it almost goes without saying that WooWoo is an all-female team personally invested in starting the necessary conversations that need to happen to normalise female sexuality and self-care.

The brand has proven how it’s possible to build a hugely successful business without traditional bricks and mortar, with the core WooWoo team of six women bossing it all day from couches, cafes and coworking spaces (à la Carrie Bradshaw).

A mix of singles, mothers, glam girls and meme queens (a modern day Sporty, Baby, Posh, Ginger and Scary) means WooWoo covers all bases and gets the tone right. Talking about sex educationally doesn’t have to be serious. Funny oversharing (think older big sis vibes) really helps women open up about taboo topics like sex.

The brand has big plans for the months ahead too, from new product launches to partnerships, events and campaigns championing the causes close to our heart.
