Jessie started her blog in 2015 as a way of documenting her travels in Tanzania when she climbed Mt Kilimanjaro. While it was nothing more than a hobby for a long time, the brand has evolved significantly over the last couple of years. Now established as one of the leading online destinations for luxury travel inspiration, content creation is part of Jessie’s day-to-day.
Through the blog, Jessie aims to create an online space that is empowering, helpful and informative. With a passion for solo travel and adrenaline-fuelled adventure, she aims to inspire others to travel solo and with confidence. In a world of offices and commuting, she thinks we could all do with a little bit more adventure in our lives.
Jessie started her SEO consultancy business, Pocket Consultancy, over two years ago after several years as Head of SEO at a London digital agency. She specialises in working with beauty and lifestyle brands, with her clientele including Secret Spa – the UK’s most trusted at-home beauty service across London, Manchester, and Brighton. Jessie also manages the SEO campaigns for Wearth, an online marketplace for sustainable products, and UpCircle, a sustainable vegan skincare brand.
Due to the ongoing success of both Pocket Wanderings and Pocket Consultancy, Jessie has now recruited a team of content writers and SEO executives to help support the businesses. She plans to continue growing both endeavours, with the aim of being the go-to place for luxury brands to be seen and heard.
