The first iteration of Research Grid (R.grid) was commercialised in 2023 and has since seen traction across multiple trials and programmes with reputable names like Boehringer Ingelheim and Walgreens via partners like EmVenio, Queen Mary University College London, Barts Health and more. As a London-based health-tech company, R.grid provides an AI-native automation platform to streamline the back-office administration of clinical trials.

Dr. Amber M. Hill is the CEO and Founder of Research Grid, the company purpose-built to reduce clinical research bottlenecks by removing repetitive manual work across the clinical trial lifecycle while maintaining the transparency, auditability, and compliance required. The company’s mission is to make trials admin-free, by accelerating access to life-saving medicine through safely engineered, fully traceable and unified AI solutions that form the only end-to-end product to automate manual back-office workflows from pre-trial planning to trial close.
