About Secureframe
Secureframe is a SaaS company helping organisations strengthen their cybersecurity posture as their technology environments become more complex. Founded in 2020 by Shrav Mehta, Secureframe was built around a problem he had experienced firsthand: security and compliance programmes relied heavily on manual evidence collection, spreadsheets and repetitive questionnaires, making it difficult for growing organisations to keep up with changing requirements.
Today, thousands of organisations around the world use Secureframe across technology, AI, healthcare, financial services and the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). Its platform brings together automated evidence collection, continuous monitoring, risk management and AI-powered capabilities across frameworks including CMMC, FedRAMP, NIST standards, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and PCI DSS.
The impact is tangible. Customers have saved more than 500 hours getting CMMC and NIST 800-171 compliant; achieved SOC 2 compliance in six business days and unblocked two customer deals, as well as achieved SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance in six months and saved $120,000 in compliance costs. These outcomes show how security and compliance software can reduce the work required to build and maintain security programmes, while also helping organisations meet external requirements.
In 2026, Secureframe expanded that work into increasingly demanding environments. The company launched Secureframe Defense, an AI-powered platform designed to help organisations in the Defense Industrial Base strengthen their security programmes while preparing for and maintaining CMMC compliance.
Secureframe also holds CMMC Level 2 certification and was one of 14 organisations selected for the FedRAMP 20x Phase Two Moderate pilot, where it successfully met the program’s Moderate security requirements. The experience gave Secureframe firsthand insight into a new approach to federal compliance that puts greater emphasis on automation and ongoing evidence from the systems being assessed.
In August 2026, Secureframe launched its fully hosted MCP Server, allowing AI assistants including Claude and Cursor to query and take action on compliance data in natural language while respecting each user’s existing Secureframe permissions.
These developments show how Secureframe is expanding what security and compliance software can do. Customers use the platform to reduce manual work, strengthen security programs, maintain visibility into their environments, and meet the requirements that demonstrate their security practices to customers, partners and regulators.
For Shrav, the goal is to make security easier to manage as organisations grow and their technology environments grow more intricate. Compliance is part of that foundation, giving organisations a way to demonstrate that the controls and practices supporting their cybersecurity posture are being maintained continuously over time.
