5 Startups Crowdfunding w/c 26.10.2026

This article does not constitute financial advice and is designed for information purposes only.

As we near the end of October, this week’s crowdfunding roundup is made up of founders taking on very different kinds of friction. One is an AI platform aligning every party involved in a property completion alongside a service providing recovery support for people coming out of rehab. A third startup is raising to fund SEND equipment that gives children access to sensory play.

While it may seem like property, special educational needs and addiction recovery don’t have all that much in common at first glance, they have the same goal of smoothing out a stage of life that often feels unnecessarily hard.

So, who are the startups crowdfunding this week? Here they are.

1. Breezemove

How much are they raising: £20,000.87

Website: www.breezemove.co.uk

SEIS/EIS? Yes, EIS

About: Breezemove is an AI-driven technology bringing buyers, sellers, agents and solicitors together for the property journey to move as quickly as possible.

In the UK, property transactions are famously slow and equally as frustrating because the process relies on so many different people, systems and paperwork. Breezemove co-ordinates all of the moving parts to keep everyone on the same page when it comes to timelines. The goal is to avoid the process stretching into months and having things collapse because of miscommunications that could have been avoided from the start.

With that kind of revenue and distribution, GUTsy Captain is well beyond the early-stage phase and continues to gain commercial momentum. Functional drinks are one of the fastest-growing corners of the beverage world as consumers want something that goes beyond just tasting good, and kombucha is one of the most credible entry points into that space.

How much are they raising: £25,000

Website: www.detox-guardian.com

SEIS/EIS? N/A

About: Detox Guardian is working to make its service available to more people, providing ongoing digital support for those going through addiction recovery.

All too often, rehab is framed as a destination but in reality, the real work begins when the programme ends and daily life resumes. This is where relapse risk peaks and where digital support is the thinnest. Detox Guardian offers continuous digital support for someone as they navigate the ongoing reality of recovery instead of leaving them to manage on their own once they leave a treatment facility.

Website: N/A

SEIS/EIS? N/A

About: Kaleidoscope Kids is raising to create an inclusive SEND centre offering sensory play, immersive learning and therapy built for children who can’t access mainstream education.

Families with children who have special education needs or disabilities are often faced with gaps in provision. There are very few specialist spaces and the children who need stimulating, supportive environments the most are often the ones with the fewest options. Kaleidoscope Kids is creating a single centre that brings it all together under one roof to make an immediate impact on families that need it.

5. New Vision Opticians

How much are they raising: £150,000

Website: www.newvision-opticians.com

SEIS/EIS? N/A

About: New Vision is on a mission to make every Optomap scan free to promote early eye-health detection without the financial barrier.

Optomap scans give opticians a detailed view of the retina and can pick up early signs of serious conditions long before symptoms appear. However, these are usually costly which puts people off from having them done. New Vision’s argues that eye health shouldn’t come down to what someone can afford on the day of their appointment and by working to make these scans free, they’re removing a small but consequential financial decision that often results in problems being caught later than they should be.
