As part of International Women’s Day today (8th March 2022), TechRound has reviewed submissions from a range of women in the tech and the startup scene, celebrating these inspirational entrepreneurs and their ongoing achievements.
To appreciate the hard work of women from all over the world today, breaking the glass celling in what were otherwise male-dominated industries, we’ve showcased our top 64 women in startups and tech. Each individual entry has been assessed by the TechRound team, and is deemed to have made a fantastic contribution in the tech and startups across PR, fashion, tech, finance and more.

Special Mentions
We’re incredibly proud of our top 64 list, and would like to give a special mention in particular to our top 3…
1. Maaha Suleiman, Founder of Care Matched: Maaha has encountered many challenges as a sole female founder from ethnic minority background whilst trying to develop technology in the middle of a pandemic. With perseverance, she applied for grants and formed a partnership with a tech investment firm who believed in her vision for Care Matched – providing care organisations and councils with the tech to ensure people receive culturally appropriate care.
2. Sylvia Kang, CEO of Quanovate Tech Inc. (Mira): believing that women should own their bodies and their data, so they can make the right decisions along their fertility journey. Kang is an example of delayed motherhood herself, giving birth to her first child at the age of 36. Mira’s Fertility tracker is an AI-powered device that aims to help women who are struggling to conceive.
3. Caroline Walton, Founder & CEO of TieTa: Caroline has more than 20 years experience in Financial Services. Her experience spans a broad spectrum of business across finance, marketing, corporate affairs, compliance, strategy and change management. She is the founder and CEO of successful outsourcing company, TieTa.
