Founded by Phil McGovern and Dan Macken, Caffeine and Machine is a meeting spot dedicated to those who love all things coffee and/or car related. Their main objective is to provide a great atmosphere for people to meet, being renowned as quite a social hub for the motorist scene.
The two co-founders met in Dubai, working at a start-up banking company however both their passions were always very much within the motorist and car industry. Due to this shared love of cars, Phil McGovern would hold events for any caffeine and/or car-enthusiast, with the last of these meetings in Dubai hosting a staggering 3,000 people.
With an ardent love for coffee and cars, in addition to the impressive social media following the Dubai events had resulted in, both McGovern and Macken decided to create something similar when they both moved back to the UK. After finding the perfect spot for their famous meet-ups to take place, this being a large country estate in Stratford-Upon-Avon, the two co-founders started construction.

After construction had been finished, Phil McGovern and Dan Macken had the Caffeine and Machine’s grand opening in October 2018. The opening was met with an overwhelmingly positive response; people coming over from as far as Belgium and The Netherlands to enjoy all the B&B has to offer. Off to a great start, Caffeine and Machine continues to remain and exciting social hub within the area of Stratford-Upon-Avon.
McGovern told The Telegraph: “Caffeine and Machine is for everyone, no matter what your taste in car, we are inclusive and everyone is welcome!”
