Founded in 2016 and based in London, TechRound is where decision makers, investors and startups of all sizes come to find out the latest developments and trends within the industry.
Our list of 29 entrepreneurs under the age of 29 highlights the hard work, innovation and determination of young British entrepreneurs – with many of our previous finalists going on to be mentioned in the Forbes 30 under 30 and other international awards.

Wow, a course that can teach you all the essentials in AR in just under 10 hours, that’s incredible. We all know that this is a growing industry, and that knowledge is power, so it’s great to see Andy using his experiences and learning to help others do the same and to also use tech for good, something we need to acknowledge and embrace.
A wall climbing robot, great idea, and with the support of organisations like Warwick University, one that clearly has legs (pun intended). Harry and Jack have showed clear innovation and determination with this project, taking from an idea in their homes, to a real-life example of future technology.
Really fantastic to see Agnes doing this much needed, outstanding work, as well securing high profile PR to get such an important message out there on a wider scale.
It is great to see Samuel taking his learnings and career experiences to create a highly effective platform with integrity that gives people the infrastructure to evaluate and invest in carbon credits. I wish him all the best as he takes this forward as it looks like a complex but much needed offering.

Kathryn Burn – Owner at Pyjamily

Perfectly poised to inspire young entrepreneurship, Kathryn effortlessly balances her unapologetic drive, business ambition and acumen with her passion, breaking down stereotypical perceptions with integrity and grace as she goes.
Matt Wilson – Co-Founder at Omnipresent
Matt is an experienced entrepreneur and prior to Omnipresent, already founded and run a number of businesses including an enterprise software business. Matt launched Omnipresent alongside his fellow co-Founder, Guenther Eisinger, in the hope of solving many of the challenges companies face when managing a remote team. His work and career achievements have been recognised by Forbes who in 2019 named him in their 30 under 30 list.
Simone Thomas – Owner Simone Thomas Wellness
Simone Thomas is an author, entrepreneur, bioenergetics practioner and a leading authority in the world of hair health and wellness. Simone’s business journey was kicked started by her own health challenges in her twenties when she lost her hair and experiences the devesting impact this had on her. Today she is the owner of a successful salon in Dorset and the founder of the multi-award-winning supplement brand, Simone Thomas Wellness.
