About Fuel Ventures

The Fuel Ventures Portfolio (the “Fund”) invests at the most lucrative early stages of internet technology companies that have exceptional growth potential and substantial returns can be achieved. The Fund focuses on marketplaces, platforms, and SaaS business models, identifying investments in seed and growth stages.

Fuel Ventures was founded in 2014 by Mark Pearson. Previously, Mark set up MyVoucherCodes, a coupon and price comparisons platform that he exited for £55m. Mark and the Fuel Ventures team are investors in over 45 of the fastest growing technology companies, including Paddle, which is one of the UK’s fastest-growing software companies. He’s had a number of successful exits from his personal investment portfolio including Last Second Tickets, Playlists.net and Paddle at 17X.

Bringing together great entrepreneurs into an environment of innovation, collaboration, and support in RocketSpace in the heart of London, Fuel Ventures provide a unique combination of mentorship, experience, and access to the investment required to drive a business and ideas to success.

Fuel Ventures Portfolio

Fuel Ventures has made a total of 65 investments since its foundation in 2014 – 55 of which Fuel Ventures was the leading investor. Their most recent investment was on June 8, 2021, when Lifted, a home healthcare platform offering a personalised and innovative approach to improve the home healthcare experience, raised $6.2M in a Series A funding round.

Fuel Ventures has had a total of 1 exit, which was Suggestv, a London-based video machine learning SaaS platform.

Significantly, Fuel Ventures have launched a new £45 million investment fund. The funds will be deployed to more than 60 of the UK’s most exciting tech-enabled startups over the next 12 months, making it one of the most prolific early stage investors in the UK. Fuel Ventures is also extending support to pre-seed, innovative businesses through its new fund. This move aims to help stem the decline in first-time investment as the rest of the VC market looks upstream towards the latter stage, big-money rounds.
