Startup of the Week: Feast It

Startup-of-the-Week

Our Startup of the Week is Feast It! The UK’s go-to event catering platform that’s partnered with more than 1,000 of the country’s top suppliers.

How Does Feast It Work?

Feast It cater for weddings, parties, BBQs, drinks and more. Through the platform, users submit an enquiry that includes details of their event, and the types of suppliers they’re wanting.

After submitting details, a personal “Event Pro” will be assigned to the project, who will begin to find the very best suppliers for the event, chosen from their long list of partners.

Users will then be sent personalised quotes from suppliers their Event Pro has picked for them, and can chat to the ones they like most to find the perfect fit for their event. Once a supplier has been chosen, all that’s left to do is confirm the booking and sort out payment details.

How Did Feast It Begin?

The idea for Feast It was first thought up by co-founders Digby Vollrath and Hugo Campbell during their years working in events, festivals and food. Both Digby and Hugo experienced the difficulties around booking suppliers for events, and wanted to create a platform where people could access a range of different catering options from top suppliers in the country.

In early 2017, both Digby and Hugo quit their jobs and launched Feast It. Since its launch, this innovative startup has raised £2.7 million from three Seed funding rounds, and has grown to become the country’s leading event catering platform.

Feast It now hold a team of event experts (Event Pros), handpicking suppliers to ensure users get only the very best options for their event. The startup state that “Knowing our suppliers inside out means we can choose the perfect fit for each event.”
